The sea is an aimless journey
The afternoon was shrouded in gray clouds that painted the sky above the Trieste waterfront, creating a mysterious and fascinating atmosphere. I took this photo that tells the story of the stillness and solitude of that special moment: the calm, deserted sea with a lone ship lost on the horizon.
It was as if time stood still, allowing me to savor every moment of that enchanted scene.
The photo conveys a feeling of peace and serenity, while the ship in the distance adds a touch of mystery and adventure. It is a moment suspended in time, where the world seems to slow down its hectic pace to allow for a moment of tranquility.
This is the charm of Trieste's waterfront, steeped in history and marine charm, capable of enchantment even on cloudy, sunless days.
“I like a good story and I also like staring at the sea... do I have to choose between the two?” (David Byrne, “How Music Works”)
