There are stories that come alive through images, built by light and shadow, by colors that vibrate and marks that draw invisible boundaries. Shapes and spaces intertwine, giving voice to silent but powerful narratives. Each shot contains a whole world, and each world tells stories born from emotions, moments experienced and marks that time has left behind.

My stories are not intended to reveal absolute truths. Their purpose is not to explain, but call to mind. Each image is a call: not to understand, but to perceive. According to the viewer, stories change shape, adapting to different perspectives, turning on emotions and unique insights in each one. It is there that their strength lies: not in certainty, but in the ability to change and be reflected in each glance.

I love photography as personal expression and pursuit of emotions. I am fascinated by the rarefied atmospheres of Michael Kenna, the narrative power of Sebastião Salgado and the poetic gaze of Luigi Ghirri - different photographers, but all of them able to transform realities into something greater.

My name is Domenico. I was born and raised in Bari, but I have been living in Parma since 2001. In everyday life I am a public employee in the IT service, but photography is my escape route, my way of exploring and portraying the world. When I go out with my camera, I let instinct and light guide me, trying to capture the essence of what I see. Besides shooting, I love spending time with my family and watching soccer and tennis on TV.

People who know how to see use their own heart, not they eyes, nor their mind. The heart is not distracted by colors or nuances. Only the heart will let you capture the emotions that the photographer has captured, in his/her turn, with his/her own heart. The camera is only a tool, it is the heart that commands it.

Ci sono storie che prendono vita attraverso le immagini, costruite da luci e ombre, da colori che vibrano e segni che tracciano confini invisibili. Forme e spazi si intrecciano, dando voce a narrazioni silenziose ma potenti. Ogni scatto racchiude un mondo intero, e ogni mondo racconta storie nate da emozioni, attimi vissuti e tracce che il tempo lascia dietro di sé.

Le mie storie non mirano a rivelare verità assolute. Il loro scopo non è spiegare, ma evocare. Ogni immagine è un invito: non a comprendere, ma a percepire. A seconda di chi guarda, le storie cambiano forma, si adattano a prospettive diverse, accendendo emozioni e intuizioni uniche in ciascuno. È lì che risiede la loro forza: non nella certezza, ma nella capacità di trasformarsi e riflettersi in ogni sguardo.

Oltre a scattare, amo passare il tempo con la mia famiglia e guardare il calcio e il tennis in TV.
