Happiness
Let's think about the essence of friendship, and take our cue from a quote from Siddhartha Gautama Buddha.
“Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, And the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”
Like a candle that lights thousands of other candles without losing its own light, so friendship feeds on sharing. Happiness, on the contrary, is amplified in the act of being shared, a light ray that spreads through the sincere bond between friends.
In a world where connections often fade, cultivating authentic friendships is like preserving the eternal flame of a candle that continues to shine, fueled by love and mutual sharing of joys and sorrows.
May each of us be like that candle that ignites and illuminates, helping to make the path of others brighter.
